About Heritage
Heritage is a revitalized Catholic settlement in Sharon, Georgia, offering a sacred destination of history, beauty, and faith. Our 200-acre retreat, historic church and sacred cemeteries provide a space for profound spiritual renewal and community connection.

Yield to God with your yes!
Often without warning, we experience an announcement, a circumstance, or an event that can throw our life into unanticipated chaos.  What can we learn from the angel Gabriel’s announcement to the Virgin Mary, as depicted in the Gospel of Luke,  that altered her life and changed the course of human history?  How can we yield our personal hopes and dreams to a loving God’s plan for our lives?  In this reflection, we will consider how to thrive, not just survive, when life takes an unexpected turn.

Yes Lord… Again and Again
Giving our “yes” to God’s plan for our lives typically is not a one-time event.  The Lord presents multiple, on-going opportunities for us to trust Him and cooperate with His will for our unique destiny.  Mediating on the art and scripture from Heritage’s Grace Garden, this reflection will examine several events depicted in the Gospel of Luke when Mary and Joseph chose to say yes to God’s plan for their lives during their family’s early years together.
